About HumanAtlas
HumanAtlas is an interactive anatomy learning project. It lets you explore reference male and female models, body systems, quizzes, and an encyclopedia of diseases.
What the models show
The anatomy is adapted mainly from Z-Anatomy and BodyParts3D. The female model combines reshaped reference anatomy with other openly licensed sources. These are educational reference models. They do not represent every person or variation, and the physiology animations are illustrations rather than clinical simulations.
See the full model sources, changes, and licenses. The adapted Z-Anatomy model files are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0.
About the disease content
The disease pages are short educational overviews. Each page links to a condition-specific reference from a public health or medical organization. Those links are starting points for further reading, not proof that every statement on our page matches the source. Individual claims have not been checked against the references, and there is no documented clinical review of HumanAtlas disease content. Do not use these pages to diagnose a condition, choose a treatment, or decide whether to delay care. A qualified health professional can advise you about your situation.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Medical guidance varies by country and changes over time.
